Why Hunt Canada with Acorn Outfitting Adventures?

Step into a hunt guided by unmatched, year-round, boots-on-the-ground experience—where every decision is backed by a lifetime spent living and working in this very landscape.

Owners Jeff Acorn and Ken Morrison don’t simply guide here during hunting season—they live and work here every day of the year. Jeff owns and operates a local service rig company, while Ken owns and operates oil wells throughout the Swan Hills and Fort Assiniboine region. In addition, both own large registered traplines that are located right in the heart of the areas we hunt.

Between trapping, maintaining traplines, operating heavy equipment, working the oilfield, scouting wildlife, and guiding hunters, they spend 365 days a year on this landscape. It’s not uncommon for them to see black bears, moose, deer, wolves, and countless other wildlife during an ordinary workday.

That daily exposure gives us something no map, trail camera, or preseason scouting trip can provide—decades of firsthand knowledge. We know where animals feed, where they travel, how weather affects their movement, and where they seek cover throughout every season of the year.

Our big game hunts in Canada aren’t based on luck. They’re built on generations of local experience, an unmatched understanding of the land, and a genuine passion for sharing this incredible part of Alberta with hunters from around the world.

When you hunt with Acorn Outfitting Adventures, you’re not hiring guides who visit the area—you’re hunting with local outdoorsmen whose lives have always been connected to this land. If you’re ready to experience a hunt built on true expertise and proven success, we invite you to reach out today to inquire about availability or secure your spot—your next unforgettable adventure starts here.
