Your day of bear hunting begins with a relaxed breakfast in camp before heading out to scout and prepare for the evening hunt. Since black bears are most active during the late afternoon and evening, we spend time checking active areas, monitoring fresh sign, and ensuring you’re set up in the best possible location.

As the woods begin to settle and evening approaches, you’ll take your place overlooking proven bear habitat. Every black bear hunt is filled with anticipation as black bears, whitetails, mule deer, moose, wolves, and countless other wildlife move through the landscape. Few experiences compare to watching a mature Alberta boar appear silently from the timber.

Our Alberta bear hunting areas consistently produce mature black bears, with many harvested bears ranging from 200 to 300 pounds. Every season we also encounter exceptional boars exceeding 400 pounds, giving hunters a genuine opportunity to pursue a true trophy bear.

While no ethical outfitter can guarantee success, we can promise something just as valuable—an honest black bear hunt guided by people who know this country better than anyone.
